The programme in Ireland is for high-school students aged 15 to 18 with a good knowledge of English. You attend a public school in the counties of Galway, Kerry, Cork, Mayo, Clare, Waterford, Wexford, Limerick, Tipperary or Kilkenny.

The school system
The Irish system offers a wide range of subjects, many chosen by the student, oriented either towards a more classical or a more technical preparation. You take between five and seven subjects, plus a programme of sport and recreation.
Most Irish schools are single-sex, and uniform is the rule. A typical day: lessons from 9:15, a break at 10:30, lunch at 12:30, lessons again from 13:45, finishing at 15:45. Each lesson lasts about 45 minutes and there is no school on Saturday.
