The programme in Germany is for high-school students aged 15 to 17. A good knowledge of English and/or German is required. You attend a public school anywhere in the country.

The programme opens with a three-day activity in Frankfurt or Düsseldorf.

The school system
The German system guarantees the right to education for everyone through an entirely public school network. There are three types of upper-secondary institution based on academic ability: the Gymnasium, the Realschule and the Hauptschule.
International exchange students are placed in the Gymnasium and the Realschule, ensuring an academic, multidisciplinary preparation.
